MOZART OF MADRAS-There is no limit for ignorance.

recently i had a query about mozart.so i typed mozart in the search space.guess what i got in reply.A.R.REHMAN.i shook the CPU,repluged the intenet connection.oh my gosh!! is there anything wrong with the internet connection.i wondered.finally i decided to go through the site.i found some lunatics from our motherland has given that nickname to mr.rehaman.

fans and fantics of mr.rehaman.
please dont talk about anything which you least know.i mean how can you compare mozart with rehman.if i want to make this as an issue i will definitely have to intimidate the latter to explain about mozart.but i dont want to do that.but on the other hand, will shread a few words about mozart.
mozart(born jan 27th1756 - died dec 5th 1.00 a.m 1791)
composed his first minuet at the age of 4 along with a concerto with minimal notes.
composed the first symphony at the age of 7,a full scale opera at the age of 12.
composed last three symphonies 39 in E-flat,40 in G minor, jupiter symphony in a span of five weeks.

single handedly popularized piano concerto's(listen to k466 OR K491 TO Start with)
beethoven listened to his concerto no 24 in C MINOR said that nobody would ever think of composing anything like that.(he wrote cadenza's to piano concerto's no 20).
he wrote requiem during his final days.was composing till his last moment.unfinished lacymosa was his last choral piece.

if you want to have some idea about mozart,i would like to recommend the movie "amadeus"
directed by milos forman.just see that movie, then you will automatically induce to learn about mozart. i cannot teach about the orchestral techniques of mozart or his capability as a composer.i am too mediocre.

i will occasionally discuss about mozart's works in the forth coming blogs.
my sincere request to people is if you want praise rehman.well do it!!!but not at the expense of comparing him to a genius.

no indian composer, except Mr.illayaraja, knows about orchestration.thats why illayaraja is nto recognised.
i dont know whether there is any composer, except Mr.Illayaraja, who still spends time to write notations for each and every musical instrument.i mean they spend their time searching for new music software's.

indian composer are well versed in hindustani raaga's and carnatic raaga's but they cant handle do a western classical orchestration, except Mr.Illayaraja.

so please stop saying that he is the mozart of madras.
